What is All-on-6?
All-on-6 restores a complete upper or lower arch of teeth using a fixed bridge secured on six dental implants. The implants act as the roots; the bridge is screwed firmly onto them, so there is nothing to take out at night. It is a permanent solution for people who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth are failing, and who want fixed teeth rather than a removable denture.
All-on-6 vs All-on-4 — which do you need?
Both concepts give you a full arch of fixed teeth; the difference is the number of implants. All-on-4 uses four implants and is an excellent, economical solution where bone is adequate. All-on-6 adds two more implants, spreading the bite force across six points instead of four. That extra support is often recommended for the upper jaw (where bone is naturally softer), for patients with a strong bite, and for longer or all-zirconia bridges. Your CBCT scan is what decides it — we confirm All-on-4 or All-on-6 in writing, never upsell you to more implants than your bone and bite need.
Why six implants give more stability
With six implants the load of chewing is distributed more evenly and the bridge is supported along its full length, reducing stress on any single implant. This can mean a more secure feel when eating harder foods and extra engineering safety margin for a full-arch bridge that you will use every day for decades. In the upper jaw in particular, the two additional implants help compensate for softer bone and the proximity of the sinus.
Fixed teeth that look and work naturally
Because the bridge is anchored to the implants, you eat, speak and smile with confidence and clean it much like natural teeth. Many patients leave the first visit with a fixed temporary bridge, so you are never without teeth, and return for the final high-strength bridge after the implants have integrated.
Your bridge: zirconia or hybrid
The final All-on-6 bridge can be full-contour monolithic zirconia — extremely strong, stain-resistant and lifelike — or a titanium-reinforced hybrid, depending on your bite, budget and aesthetic goals. Our in-house laboratory mills and finishes the bridge on site, which keeps quality tight and your second visit short. The right choice is discussed with you before anything is made.
