Bad Breath Treatment in Turkey
Persistent bad breath (halitosis) almost always has a dental cause that can be treated — not just masked with mouthwash. At our Kuşadası clinic we find the real source, from gum disease to decay or old leaking fillings, and treat it, so your breath and confidence are restored. Care is combined with a relaxed stay on the Aegean coast.

Why bad breath happens
Most persistent bad breath comes from the mouth: bacteria on the tongue and between the teeth, gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), tooth decay, old leaking fillings or crowns, or a dry mouth. Occasionally the cause is elsewhere — sinuses, tonsils or the digestive system — and we will tell you honestly if a referral is the right step.
We find the cause, not just the smell
Masking odour with mints and rinses does not fix it. We examine your gums, teeth and existing dental work, measure gum health and identify exactly what is producing the odour — so treatment targets the source rather than the symptom.
Treatment that lasts
Depending on the cause, treatment may include a thorough professional cleaning and tongue care, deep cleaning of the gums for periodontal disease, repair or replacement of decayed teeth and leaking fillings, and clear home-care coaching. Fresh breath follows from a healthy, well-maintained mouth.

Frequently asked questions
+Is bad breath always a dental problem?
Most persistent bad breath is caused in the mouth — gum disease, decay, leaking fillings or tongue bacteria — and is treatable. Occasionally it is sinus, tonsil or digestive in origin, and we will advise a referral if that is likely.
+Can't I just use mouthwash?
Mouthwash masks the odour briefly; it does not remove the cause. Lasting fresh breath comes from treating the underlying gum or tooth problem and a good daily routine.
+What might treatment involve?
Commonly a professional clean and tongue care, deep gum cleaning where there is periodontal disease, and repair of decayed teeth or old fillings — tailored to what we find.
+How much does it cost?
A consultation starts from around €70, with treatment quoted all-inclusive after examination and always confirmed in writing before you proceed.
